Nationally known tax expert and Professor of Law, Christopher Hoyt,
will present seminar for professional advisors in Wis. Rapids
Wisconsin Rapids, WI, …Professional advisors are invited to attend a seminar by tax expert and Professor of Law, Christopher Hoyt, Ph.D., on Thursday May 26, 2005, 8:00 am – 12:00 pm, at Hotel Mead. The seminar, “Family and Charitable Estate Planning with Retirement Assets,” is for accountants, attorneys, financial planners, insurance agents, and anyone serving the financial and charitable planning needs of their clients. The cost is $65 per person, and participants can earn continuing education credits as follows: 4.5 CLE; 4.5 CPA; 4.0 CFP; insurance credits have been applied for.
Christopher Hoyt, Ph.D. is a nationally-known presenter and Professor of Law at University of Missouri. The seminar will look in-depth at the role of the advisor in family and charitable planning, covering such topics as: planning for maximum tax benefits from lifetime charitable gifts; tax advantages for donors; CARE Act; Planned Giving Design Center; charitable gifts and bequests of IRD assets including IRAs, stock options, and savings bonds; funding Bypass and QTIP Trusts with retirement assets; charitable gift annuities; and more.
This seminar is co-sponsored by Community Foundations of: South Wood County, North Central Wisconsin, Portage County, and Marshfield Area, who all share the common mission of communicating the opportunities and benefits of philanthropy to the community.
